During the event held on March 5th in Milano, LE2C gathered SMEs of the food supply chains to present the open calls for voucher schemes aimed at improving the use of energy resources (water and other energy sources).
Yesterday, it was held the seminar for the launch and presentation of vouchers available to SMEs, thanks to of the VIDA Project, funded by the European Union, Innosup program of Horizon 2020.
The rapporteurs presented ways to access the open calls for SMEs who want to generate a positive impact, in terms of energy saving, better use of resources and use of enabling technologies in the agri-food sector. The three types of vouchers available are: Innovation Support Vouchers (up to 5000 €), Validation Vouchers (up to 25.000 €) and Demonstration Vouchers (up to 60000 €).
After a brief presentation of the VIDA Project by Carmen Disanto (Cluster Manager of LE2C), the speech of Morten Kildahl Sørensen (Chief Project Manager of the Danish Clean Cluster) was critical to provide SMEs with some examples of projects and challenges in the sector.
Five SMEs presented their innovative proposals to improve the use and efficiency of energy resources in the management and production of the food supply chain, while expressing their interest in submitting an application.
