LE2C was awarded with the european grant for the development of the project "NESSIE: North Sea Solutions for Innovation in Corrosion for Energy".
The project, that will be implemented with 8 European partners, aims at identifying new materials and technologies to face the corrosion of offshore facilities for energy production from renewables as wind, sea tides and waves. LE2C leads the Communication Work Package that will also include B2B events in Lombardy with Scottish. Belgian, Spanish and Swedish companies.
The "NESSIE" project, of a budget cost of euro 850,000 from the EASME/EMFF/2016/1.2.1.3 (European Maritime and Fisheries Fund) - Call "Blue Technology: Transfer of innovative solutions to sea basin economies”, is co-financed at the 80 % by the European Union and will be carried out in the next two years.
