ItalianoThe third ESECA international workshop has come to an end: here are some highlights of this exciting event!
From 6 to 8 December, the third meeting organised within the ESECA project was held to enable European SMEs interested in the renewable energy and smart grid markets to collaborate and develop innovative strategies towards sub-Saharan African markets.
7/12: THE ESECA WORKSHOP
On 7 December, the international workshop organised by the ESECA project in cooperation with the Alliance for Rural Electrification, Bayern Innovativ GmbH e AEWEN, was held:
➡ Hear the lessons learned from member companies that participated in the ESECA project's business missions in 2023 in Senegal, Kenya and Rwanda;
➡ Launch the fourth mission in Tanzania to be held in the first half of 2024;
➡ Facilitate the exchange during the round table discussion 𝐼𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙 𝑛𝑒𝑡𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑘𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑠 𝑠𝑢𝑝𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑝𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑒𝑠 𝑖𝑛 𝐴𝑓𝑟𝑖𝑐𝑎 in which Luca Traini was one of the speakers, Programme Manager and Access to Energy at RES4Africa Foundation.
The LE2C Cluster attended the event accompanied by SIEL S.p.A. (LE2C's member), as part of the European delegation of ESECA.
8/12: THE FAIR AND CONFERENCE
The second day included participation in OFF-GRID Expo + Conference, where companies were able to meet international stakeholders and attend in-depth conferences on renewable energies (topics such as solar, wind, hydroelectric, hydrogen) and smart grids (off-grid, mini-grid).
In parallel, the Steering Committee Meeting of the ESECA consortium was held on 8 December.
- The initiative allowed for the building and strengthening of important links between the European and international partners of the ESECA project delegation. -
