RISE - Resilient Innovation EcoSystems for EU Value Chains aims to accelerate the dissemination of innovation by promoting the drivers and investments for successful and sustainable interregional cooperation.
Project partners are currently collecting innovative ideas and experiences from companies, research centres, universities, organisations and stakeholders operating in the following sectors:
1. Mineral Raw materials;
2. Forest biomass;
3. Bioenergy and Sustainable buildings.

Send us your innovative project idea to receive free consultancy to facilitate the concrete development of your project. If your idea is considered valuable, you will be supported free of charge by RISE partners and expert consultants who will help you build the consortium, identify useful funding opportunities and construct a winning business plan!
The project gives you the opportunity to:
- Become part of a European network of innovators;
- Find partners with complementary skills;
- Accelerate the investment to finance your idea and build an effective business plan.
N.B. You don't have a project idea but have technologies and good practices to innovate in the relevant sectors? RISE also accepts applications from institutions/companies/organisations interested in participating as partners in other innovative projects.
ELIGIBLE COUNTRIES
Entities from the following countries may participate: Bulgaria, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, Finland and Slovenia.
DEADLINE
Register by 15 March to get involved in the project and enjoy the benefits of RISE:
THE STEPS
· By 15 March 2024: submission of application to be involved in the RISE project;
· April 2024: announcement of selected applications;
· September 2024 - February 2025: connection of stakeholders for project start-up;
· March 2025 - October 2025: consultancy for bringing the projects to market.

PROCEDURE
The selection process will managed by the RISE Consortium and will take place in a single stage. Based on the quality of the submitted activities and the available opportunities, the RISE Consortium will select and connect entities to participate in the RISE Programme.
RISE EXPECTATIONS
RISE seeks and supports the launch and development of innovative projects that have a priority impact in less developed regions of Bulgaria (Severozapaden), Slovenia (Vzhodna Slovenija) and Portugal (Alentejo). The project aims to involve the relevant skills of three transition regions in Spain, Finland and Sweden and two more developed regions in France and Italy.
AIMS
The main aim of RISE is to accelerate the dissemination of innovation by promoting the necessary drivers and investments for interregional cooperation.

THE PROJECT
RISE - Resilient Innovation EcoSystems for EU Value Chains, of which LE2C is partner of, aims to accelerate the dissemination of innovation and promote sustainable interregional cooperation. The project will last 24 months (2023-2025) and is supported by the European Programme Interregional Innovation Investment Instrument (I3).
