The Lombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster presents the #LE2CDay2024, our annual event focused on environmental and energy sustainability, designed to foster the transition to a greener future. This year, we will focus on the sustainability of packaging, taking a close look at the new European End of Waste legislation.
The initiative will be held on April 23, 2024 at the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche - CNR, Via Alfonso Corti, 12 - 20133, Milan.
THE CONVENTION
The #LE2CDay2024 will kick off with the conference "End of Waste: Innovation and Sustainable Packaging Management. The new European legislation on plastics", where we will delve into the new European regulations related to the "End of Waste".
There will be a focus on Syschemiq, the European project of which LE2C is a partner, which aims to accelerate the transition to a circular plastic economy.
Experts in the field, representatives of institutions, industry associations and individuals in the industrial and research world, will address the challenges and opportunities related to the new plastic legislation and the tools for efficient management of packaging waste.
The conference will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
BREAKOUT SESSIONS
From 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., meetings of the LE2C strategic supply chains will be held, with a focus on technologies and innovation in the following areas:
- Renewable Energy Communities - led by TerrAria Srl
- Hydrogen - piloted by OMECO S.r.l. - ICIM Group
- Sewage sludge - guided by A2A Ambiente SpA
The breakout sessions will take place at the same time, so you need to choose which activity to enroll in.
