Regione Lombardia: The second phase of the "Research and Innovate" Call is now open

Until 2 February 2024 the 2ª phase of the 'Research and Innovate' call is open, which supports investments in industrial research and experimental development of Lombard SMEs. Involved the ecosystems 'Advanced Manufacturing', 'Connectivity and Information', 'Smart Mobility and Architecture' and 'Culture and Knowledge'. Awards for members of technology clusters.

The call offers concessions of up to 80% of the eligible expenses and in any case up to 800 thousand euros for investments in industrial research and experimental development of Lombard SMEs. Rewards are provided for environmental sustainability, the presence of young people and women in the participating societies, as well as membership of the Lombard technology clusters.

Interested SMEs must submit projects covering at least one of the priorities identified by the Regione Lombardia as crucial for maintaining and improving the competitiveness of local businesses. These priorities are closely linked to the Intelligent Specialisation Strategy (S3) of the Regione Lombardia, which identifies 8 priority innovation ecosystems.

The current operating window is dedicated exclusively to four ecosystems: 'Advanced Manufacturing', 'Connectivity and Information', 'Smart Mobility and Architecture' and 'Culture and Knowledge'.

The application period runs from 10:30 a.m. on January 18, 2024 to 3:00 p.m. on February 2, 2024.
