Unindustria Como is an association whose objective is to represent and protect the interests of its associated industrial companies, taking direct action in local issues and operating through Confindustria – of which it is a member – on a national and international level. Unindustria Como provides its affiliated companies with a vast series of services to help with the day-to-day management of the main business problems. Moreover, the association runs numerous activities in the local around in order to create a favourable atmosphere for the consolidation and development of industrial activities. The province of Como’s economy is made up of an extremely active and dynamic entrepreneurial network. SMEs represent the foundation of the local economy, while there are also large multinationals and market leading companies present in the region. Since 1917, Unindustria Como has been the main point of contact for organisations operating in the area, playing a fundamental role in using the contribution of enterprise to boost the development of society.
