Politec mission is to foster smart alpine entrepreneurship through incubation of innovative companies, networking and valorisation of local assets. Innovative uses of energies are central to its action, combining innovation and sustainability. As a cooperative society it includes many trade associations and institutions, thus being able to mobilise local stakeholders to support innovation. Among current key projects there are “Valtellina EcoEnergy”, an energy efficiency protocol that aims to ensure the final quality of a construction project and includes the valorisation of local resources. Valtellina EcoEnergy promotes: - Reduction of energy consumptions; - Reduction of climate-changing emissions; - Analysis with technical equipment: infrared camera and blower door test; - Energy knowledge and consciousness; - Training and professional qualification courses for professionals, companies and high schools. Politec carries out an active participation to the activities of two Clusters: - Lombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster - Lombardy Green Chemistry Association And also cooperates with Politecnico di Milano – Polo di Lecco The Company designs and manages the touristic portal of the Province of Sondrio “Valtellina.it”, and the related analysis by the Touristic Observatory of the Province of Sondrio.
