Grid Society is an engineering company based in Bergamo, specialised in battery energy storage systems (BESS). As an EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) contractor, it designs, supplies and builds turnkey storage systems, both standalone and integrated with photovoltaic plants, industrial loads and EV charging infrastructure. It then manages and maintains them (O&M) throughout their lifetime and advises clients on the most suitable use cases for each project.
Grid Society also operates directly on the electricity markets, as a market participant on the Italian Power Exchange (GME) and Balance Responsible Party (BRP) with Terna, capturing the value of storage flexibility on energy and ancillary services markets. A single partner for the whole asset lifecycle: from design to energy trading.
