Elnov was established as a spin-off of previous activities in the field of electronic design, with the aim of developing advanced solutions for energy applications and energy storage systems.

The company focuses on the design of custom electronics for devices and systems based on batteries and supercapacitors. Solutions are developed starting from application-specific requirements, with architectures designed from the ground up to ensure high performance, reliability, and long-term durability. Elnov leverages an international patent for the combined use of electrochemical batteries and supercapacitors, aimed at extending system lifetime and reducing the use of critical raw materials.

The company provides design and development services for stand-alone energy storage systems or systems integrated with photovoltaic panels. Elnov designs and manufactures energy storage solutions for devices operating in extreme temperature environments (-40°C to +60°C) and produces pilot series for validation and industrialization.

These solutions can be integrated with embedded IoT communication systems for data acquisition, monitoring, and remote communication.
