ARCHA is a laboratory specializing in chemical and environmental analysis, applied research, and the development of new materials and processes. It supports companies in testing and improving products and production processes by assessing their performance, environmental impact, and sustainability.
How does an idea become a material that performs as intended, a manufacturing challenge lead to a better process, or a sustainability target become a measurable result? Since 1989, ARCHA has addressed these questions by bringing together laboratory testing, applied research and technology development.
Founded in Pisa, Italy, ARCHA – Analisi e Ricerche di CHimica Applicata – combines expertise in chemistry, biology, physics and engineering to support companies, universities and research organisations in developing and validating materials, products and processes. Its activities include environmental and industrial testing, material characterisation, biodegradability and compostability studies, and life cycle sustainability assessments.
Recognised by the Italian Ministry of Universities and Research as a highly qualified research laboratory, ARCHA contributes to regional, national and European projects through scientific planning, experimental work and the transfer of research findings into industrial applications
ARCHA helps turn innovation into solutions supported by evidence: designing experiments, interpreting data and establishing the scientific basis needed to bring new developments into manufacturing and industrial use.
