Webinar "Utilizing waste to combat climate change"

The webinar - organized by Lombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster and CAP Group, as part of the All4Climate 2021 initiative launched by the Ministry of Ecological Transition - aims to promote positive projects that pursue circular economy objectives in the areas of water, food and biodiversity.

Combating climate change is Goal 13 of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Climate change has a number of environmental consequences - changing weather patterns (extreme weather, droughts, etc.), melting glaciers and permafrost, rising sea levels, amongst others - that could eventually make our planet unfit for human habitation. To reverse the trend, swift and decisive action is needed in the sectors of energy, transport, food production, industrial and urban systems, etc.

Lombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster and CAP Group are organizing - as part of the All4Climate 2021 initiative launched by the Ministry of Ecological Transition - the webinar "Utilizing waste to combat climate change", to be held on Tuesday 13 July 2021, from 11:00 to 13:00. The aim of the event is to promote positive projects that pursue circular economy objectives in the areas of water, food and biodiversity. Its ultimate objective is to raise public awareness on the need to support sustainable development and to help combat climate change.
